Dave Schneider Named PCI Fellow
Dave Schneider Named PCI Fellow
David Schneider, Vice President of Engineering at High Concrete Group, has been named a PCI Fellow, one of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute’s highest honors. The recognition reflects more than four decades of contributions to both PCI and the precast industry, beginning with Dave’s early work in 1985 and continuing through his 21 years of leadership at High Concrete Group.
Throughout his career, Dave has played an active role in PCI, serving on several committees and currently chairing the Building Code Committee. At High Concrete Group, he has guided the engineering team through significant design advancements, including innovative wider double‑tee systems for parking structures. Reflecting on his career, he shared, “I got into precast at an early age, and I found it to be an excellent journey in engineering. It has been mentally challenging as different design issues and jobs came my way, and it has been a fascinating career for me.”
For Dave, being named a PCI Fellow is both an honor and a reminder of the community he’s helped shape. “Just to know that my name is associated with so many others that have served the PCI precast community is humbling. It underscores my career and what I have been able to give to the precast community.” He hopes young engineers and precast professionals will lean into learning and connection. “Engage, don’t be afraid, participate, get to know your peers, be curious.”
High Concrete Group is proud to celebrate Dave not just for this prestigious recognition, but also for his decades of leadership, mentorship, and commitment to advancing the precast industry.
