Three High Concrete Group Projects Recognized with 2026 PCI Design Awards
We’re proud to share that three High Concrete Group projects were recognized in the 2026 Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Design Awards, an annual program that highlights standout projects across the precast concrete industry. Now in its 63rd year, the PCI Design Awards celebrate innovation, craftsmanship, and architectural impact, and we’re honored to be part of this year’s group.
This year, we were recognized in the following categories:
- Justice and Correctional Building: 40th Precinct Station, Bronx, NY
- Higher Education / University Building: Drosdick Hall, Villanova University, Villanova, PA
- All-Precast Concrete Parking Structure Honorable Mention: Marquis Parking Garage, Easton, PA

Justice and Correctional Building - 40th Precinct Station
Designed to meet the complex operational needs of New York City while maintaining a strong civic presence, the 40th Precinct Station reflects years of thoughtful planning and refinement. Its stacked, box-like forms and dramatic overhangs create a bold yet approachable structure, one that balances modern design with community engagement and officer functionality.
Key project attributes:
- Polished and light-sandblasted precast finishes reference historic NYC station houses while establishing a modern identity
- Precast concrete used beyond the façade, including site elements like entrance stairs and benches
- A cohesive material palette that reinforces durability, versatility, and architectural impact
- A strong example of how precast supports both performance and design in civic buildings

From civic design, we shift to a completely different environment, higher education, where precast concrete helped shape a new hub for innovation and hands-on learning.
Higher Education / University Building - Drosdick Hall, Villanova University
Drosdick Hall represents a major expansion of Villanova University’s College of Engineering, more than doubling academic space and creating a new hub for innovation and collaboration. The building supports hands-on learning, cutting-edge research, and student connection inside and out.
Key Project Attributes:
- Over 20 new state-of-the-art research labs, increasing lab space by more than 60%
- A two-story innovation lab with 3D printers, laser cutters, and collaborative workspaces
- Green roofs with intelligent monitoring systems used as live research tools
- Precast solutions that support innovation, sustainability, and long-term academic use

All Precast Concrete Parking Structure Honorable Mention -Marquis Parking Garage
Part of a landmark mixed-use development, the Marquis Parking Garage plays a critical role in supporting Easton’s largest residential project to date. The structure was designed to meet tight schedule demands while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding apartments and retail spaces. Serving as the structural base for the five-story residential building above, the precast parking structure balances performance, safety, and architectural consistency.
Key Project Attributes:
- Two-story precast structure supporting five levels of steel-framed residential construction
- Three-hour fire-rated precast wall system for safety and code compliance
- Cast‑in ThinBrick cladding that visually aligns with the apartment façade
- A flexible precast solution that met architectural review standards in a dense urban setting
