Beautiful Buildings
Aesthetic Options

Precast concrete lets you create unique parking structures that can imitate the design of other structures in a building complex, add visual interest to a downtown area or contribute to the campus setting of a hospital or school.

Conrail GarageAesthetic Beauty
The aesthetic flexibility of High Concrete Group's precast concrete gives you a rich palette of colors, shapes and textures to produce dramatic effects. Precast concrete lets you create unique parking structures that can imitate the design of other structures in a building complex, add visual interest to a downtown area or contribute to the campus setting of a hospital or school.

Design Freedom
Once considered drab gray boxes hidden away inconspicuously, parking structures have now come to be a major visual element in any setting. Today, the architectural design of the structure is just as important as its function. Using our industrialized production techniques, we can find a custom-made solution for any contour or shape you need to achieve expressive architectural designs. Contouring and sculpturing costs are minimal with the repetitive use of molds.

Flexibility
With a new concern for aesthetics in parking structure design, professionals are recognizing the flexibility of precast concrete and its greater ability to meet such needs as compared to any other structural system. The inherent plasticity of precast concrete allows you to economically create components in custom shapes and sizes that would be prohibitively expensive in other materials.

Aggregates and Cements
A wide array of colors and textures can be achieved at High Concrete Group through the use of various aggregates and cements. Almost any kind of stone can be incorporated into a precast parking structure's façade to produce dazzling effects. Adding local stone helps blend the structure with its natural environment. Exposed aggregates can effectively mimic surrounding granite or marble buildings. For more aesthetic options, pigmented cements can also be used.

Through custom fabrication of molds, High Concrete Group can contour and shape precast concrete to achieve rounded and unusually shaped profiles for the greatest visual impact, cost-effectively and efficiently.

Finishes and Textures
To add aesthetic interest, precast surfaces can be finished to produce a wide range of textures including smooth, ribbed, sandblasted, acid-washed and exposed aggregate.

Reveals and Joints
Precast concrete panels can be cast with decorative reveals, which can reduce the mass or alter the line of the structure. False joints can also be incorporated to give spandrels a look similar to limestone or sandstone, but at a lower cost than these other materials.

Veneers
When the traditional brick masonry of surrounding buildings needs to be replicated in the facade of a parking structure, brick veneers can be supplied for precast spandrels. At High Concrete Group, we can achieve a brick finish by casting full, half or thin bricks directly into spandrels. An alternative is to cast voids in spandrels that can be inset with full bricks in our plant or in the field. For a more prestigious design statement, we can incorporate thin veneers of marble or granite into spandrels to match the stone of neighboring buildings.
