Riverview Executive Parking Garage
The
structure consists of 3 supported levels, 4 bays wide by 7 bays
long with over 200,000 square feet of 15 foot wide double tees.
Three stair towers and a shear wall offset at the corners
and helped to improve the typical drainage issues in those areas.
The 45 foot bay spacing on the load bearing sides and the
introduction of key shear walls on the non-load bearing side of
the exterior helped to maintain more consistent spandrel lengths.
This was essential to minimize changes to the micro ribbed
formliner panels in the second and third level spandrels.
Formed
recessed arches with a different sandblast depth in the recess were
introduced into the roof level spandrels.
The same concept was used at the entrances and to cap off
the curtain wall in the main stair towers. Two separate column cover
configurations were used throughout the façade to conceal the spandrel
to column joints. These
column covers incorporated two separate thin-set brick colors above
and below a lightly sandblasted water table.
The addition of this 9000 square feet of purely architectural product has made this the outstanding parking structure in the area.
