Located in the middle of downtown Lancaster, this parking garage expansion was especially complicated due to narrow streets and the built-up nearby properties.  The expansion was both vertical and horizontal, adding a level to the top of the garage as well as adding a bay to the side.  Spandrels were removed and replaced with beams.  Traffic was rerouted, but the streets were never completely closed off.  Cranes needed to get to the garage from 2 different sides, and all of this was done while the garage was still in use.  The crew worked evenings and weekends until the project was completed.o:p>

The project incorporated an interesting inlaid brick pattern applied at the plant to complement the existing structure.  The match is flawless, and the owners are very happy with the results.
